Acoustic treatment for restaurants

Recently the number of complaints about excessive noise in restaurants have increased. It’s now the second most common complaint among restaurant-goers – second only to poor service!

In a restaurant, noise levels can easily surpass 85 decibels during an eight-hour shift, especially when there is music playing, espresso coffee machines are brewing, and cutlery and plates are clattering. This is significant as the normal conversational volume is around 60 dB(A).

The solution to poor acoustics

Installing absorbent acoustic products is the best way to improve acoustics in your restaurant. This acoustic treatment lowers reverberation (the noise bouncing around the space) and allows everyone to communicate easily without raising their voices to be heard over the noise.
